LEAVE… an idea of nostalgia in a context of displacement. Look behind one’s shoulder what one is leaving behind in order to go somewhere to the unknown. Leaving one’s marks, one’s comfort, and one’s traditions in the hope of a better life.
Migrants, exiled, emigrants, refugees, expatriates, immigrants, deported… More and more people leave their homeland, their roots, and their culture in the hope of finding better life conditions elsewhere. For many among them, when they leave their country, they hope to return there one day.
Based on the notions of displacement, crossings and nostalgia LEAVE… questions everyone about their place in this timeless phenomenon. This is achieved through a performance, where the public will have to leave their marks as traditional spectators to let themselves be embarked on a new interactive experience.
